Default ~~~11-12 Hockey Thread~~~

I haven't seen anyone start one yet so I will.
Who do you all like this year and who do you think will be the teams to watch?

I obviously like the Wild but they have made alot of good changes this year that I think will make a big difference in how they play! Can only get better from last year.

I also think that Philly and Detroit will be teams to watch out for this year.
IMO

Judging by Sharks pre-season and the domination they are laying down right now I am saying we get the cup this year!

Shots were 18-6 sharks at the end of the first period and two of them went in.

Grew up in Detroit, so life long Wings fan here. But I've lived in Los Angeles for 17 years now and been watching the Kings. Kings made some great moves before the season started, and the Brown, Richards, Gagne line is looking killer!

Wings kinda suck so far this season....I think they lost again tonight Not sure, it's not like the good ol' days on Channel 50 with Ray Lane and Mickey Redman. I don't get CBC out of Windsor anymore either....No Hockey night in Canada....No....Coaches Corner

Sharks for life....

Yea but its not like we didnt get anything in return.

Now if we could figure out how to play in the 1st period we would be unstoppable!

I grew up in Maine till I was 10 anyway....big Nodic's, Maple Leaf, and Bruins fan when I was young...used to hide under the end table in the living room and watch the hockey game while my dad and uncle drank beer. Played some pee-wee hockey and always hit the post....hence the forum name....

NHL realignment.... NHL Board Votes For Realignment - Minnesota Wild - News

I think that it could possibly be one of the best things to happen to the league in a long time... take tonight for instance... the Wild at Sharks game starts at 2130 local time... That sucks! From the way it sounds the league is going to have all the teams play at least a home and home with every other team but most of the games your favorite team will be playing will be against conference rivals. So that travel won't be playing that much of a factor and game times won't be like they are tonight!

Thoughts?
