Nice! what are you powering them with? I like horns, I have Avantgarde. I almost bought a set of Corals.

I’m currently running them on a recapped Nad 7020. I love the Nad sound and it works great with the horns. Will look out for a Mullard 5-10 variant in the future again. Problem is Rock sounds better on solid state...

Buy corals when you find them. They surprised the hell out of me.

Those Avant Garde designs are pure art. I’m sure its spectacular to listen to.

Nice! NAD make some nice gear, and yes, ss does rock a bit better..you can do well with tubes but can't cheap out. the Avantgarde's are fantastic, I run them with a big single ended tube amp, the speakers have their own powered subs, so no problem with the bottom end. I play a lot of hard rock and metal..the Germans would shudder

Brilliant!

Yea, valve dynamics is my big gripe, but they’ll be wired to some again some day.
First up for audio is replacing my avr after I start making some real money again after this virus. With the SA power cuts we had a spike and there were some random fires on different psu’s in the amp. I think the only boards that survived were the display, protection and tuner... real bummer.
