That's awesome. I saw that guy on a show called Halloween Wars and he did a huge, maybe 2 feet, zombie pumpkin.

Wish me luck I am going to carve my first pumpkin tonight or tomorrow. Have you guys got any pointers for a beginner. Ie knives to use and the like.
BTW what does it cost to buy one int the U.S. I had to pay $3.90 per/kg(2.2lb) today. the first one I bought was $25 I took it back and exchanged it for one half the size.

I just took my kids to a patch and they were able to get any pumpkin for $5. No matter the size.

Imagine one of these treads going all the way around on a pumpkin. Dang camera's giving me issues or I'd post a pic.

to keep them "fresh" you need to sit them in water. Use a pie tin or maybe those foil containers you can find in the grocery. The pumpkins will soak up the water and remain firm.

Ok cool.. Will keep that in mind for next year.. I thought it was because it gets 75 in the day and 40 at night.. But a big thumbs up for the info.. My kids will be stoked that they'll last long next year

I heard you can put them in a bucket of water to "revive" them.
