The Wide Angle 5MP from a few years back. Great little camera and Dad is now thinking about thinking about using it for work too.

Look up GreenJeep1998 on YouTube

There's a new version out with added features now. Hd 2. Same price as the old hd was, and the old one had a price break.

I own the HD Hero. So versatile.. trail videos, RC videos, time lapse of projects.. I have even used it as a diving video camera in the British Virgin Islands!

Does anyone have the Hero2 yet? I'm curious about the quality of the 120fps.

Spec I found were a little vague. I think the 1080 is still 30 fps and 720 is 60fps.?

I found this:

120 fps WVGA, 60 fps 720p, 48 fps 960p, 30 fps 1080p Video

I was just curious what WVGA looked like.

I believe WVGA is SD video (standard def non-HD). I'd like to see what the quality looks like.

That would be great if you could. Right now I see no reason not to get the Hero 2 over the Hero 1 (or what ever they call it), but it would be nice to see what I can expect first.

Has anyone compared the Kodak versions to the GoPro?

A few more options and wifi control with the bacpac is the biggest difference I see. Actual video quality probably wont change.

Actually the remote would be very handy for me, especially being able to control more than one at a time. I don't really want a GoPro to film myself (even though I am quite the handsome devil). I want it primarily for TTC events.

Here's gopro's wifi bacpac description. Looks like the only difference is the hero 2 can stream to a wifi device where the hero 1 can't.

"PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Wi-Fi-enable your HD HERO2 or original HD HERO camera with the Wi-Fi BacPac

I think the video streaming sounds pretty cool! I envision a scaler comp where you can only drive via the live video stream, and a spotter in front of the truck...no looking at it directly.

I just got it today. I just looked at my schedule and unfortunately I won't have any time to use it for the next couple months.
