| Holy sweetness! This is pretty dang cool! NOW THIS IS A HOBBY! Additional Information: The model is scratch built like a canoe using 1/4" bass wood strips & then covered w/fiberglass. Estimated weight: 700 lbs. The beam is 52" The length is about 30' It can carry 2 persons. The model is powered by a 15 hp outboard engine under rear gun turret. It can sail 15 mph Furthermore the model has a built in music system. While William Terra cruises the lakes of Maine he enjoys listening to Wagner. The Commander-in-Chief in the photographs below is William Terra Construction time: 4 years (so far). |

Looks like he drives it from inside. It would be funny to drive that around far enough off shore that people cant tell if its real and far away or mini and closer than they think. |

That is freakin' AWESOME!! I was also wondering if it is RC or not. I did see the pic of the guy inside the ship, but it looks like it would be kinda hard to see where you were going from that position. It would rock if you could control it by radio! Beautiful work for sure! |
