Isn't that just like a 1:1? Doesn't get more scale than that. Just don't roll over haha

TwistedXT 11-28-2011 05:23 PM

maybe they will do what Tamiya did a couple of months back and release "a new website"... booo!!!!!!!

Jordo 11-29-2011 03:18 PM

Is it the Kawasaki licensed vehicles, or is that old news(hopefully)?

"Nitro Gas engine"???? It would just be gas would it not? Mix the oil and pump gas and go.:ror:

That's my fear too... I reallllly hope that they don't because deep down in the pit of my soul I know that every little kid who wants a hobby grade RC would be like "MOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! I WAN'T THE TRAXXAS CRAWLLLLERRRRRR"

But like the others, perhaps it is time for them to release something that is different from everything they have seemed to perpetuate for years.

Hope it's something new, not just re-worked existing platform. If Traxxas does a crawler it will be very good, they have learned a lot and their quality is high. "thumbsup" I hope it is a scale crawler.

some quick googling is showing the price to be around $800-$1,000. But that is just what the internets say. So, maybe a 1/5th scale whatever.

They always do that with pricing of not yet released stuff.

Yes, let's hope they have more brains than that.

BigBaller 11-29-2011 04:03 PM

$10 challenge.....?

It's a 2speed scaler called a Traxxas tuff truck. :flipoff:

Yes, it is a two stroke, gasoline powered, 1/8 scale sized engine. You misread my post, plus I should have been more clear. I merely said nitro sized as a way to describe the smaller size of the engine, as in not a 26cc+ 1/5 scale engine.

Traxxas - XO-1 (#6407) - Overview | traxxas.com

nstn8 11-30-2011 06:01 AM

100 mph? Boring
1/7th scale? What?
On road only? Super boring?
$1099? Ridiculous

There is nothing in this release I find the least bit exciting besides iPhone/iPod telemetry. And that should have been android compatible as well. These are just opinions, but I was actually hoping to want a traxxas product again, and this did not fit the bill for me.

CrawlinMike 11-30-2011 06:14 AM

Yep. Completely disinterested. Dang and I was anxious for a week. Whatever more $$ for crawling.

Jordo 11-30-2011 06:50 AM

Lame!

CrawlinMike 11-30-2011 07:03 AM

I hope they didn't make many. I bet the sales just barely cover the r&d and production. A real let down. I'm goin with my lhs's view on traxxas from now on I think.

bigstu 11-30-2011 07:09 AM

One word comes to mind..

FAIL.....

Farmer 11-30-2011 07:18 AM

Traxxas world's fastest out of the box rc cars!!!! No fail, just bragging rights:lmao:

Later,
Farmer

TwistedXT 11-30-2011 07:19 AM

i must say, that is not what i had in mind. still cool none the less! 1/5th scale on road powered by castle that is ready to run over 100 mph out of the box! that's kinda scary! its like an Rc missile! the msrp is crazy, but it always is. the price will come down. i digg the telemetry thing with the iPhone, now if it only worked on Droids.... hint hint hint.

jeepinkid83 11-30-2011 07:22 AM

And it's only $1099.99. I'm gonna rush out and buy two.
