Same here. Nothing is worth battling it out with soccer moms and old ladies.

The wife, however, made a 1 a.m. trip to Walmart. Came back with all kinds of useless crap.

That's what Amazon said, and now they're up to $189. They retail for ~$400. Got em for $94.

I managed to get my kid a 32" LCD Emerson TV at a local walmart for $188. May not be the best deal, but 200+ people who were standing in line waiting for 79 tv's thought so. Dude walked up to me and said, "You want one of these tvs?" I said thinking about it, He gave me an extra ticket he got from the store guy handing them out. Said "Merry Christmas," and walked away. One woman paid a guy 50 bucks to hold her spot, She saw what the guy did, and went insane. She didn't get a ticket, she was 4 away when they said they were out of tickets. Me and the wife are still laughing about it.

I wanted a new xbox. I saw there was close to 1000 people at the toys r us sale last night. Walmart was the same way. I figured I was just out of luck. I strolled into Toys-r-Us today and picked up the $199 xbox. No line, only 20 people in the entire store. I went back and bought a second one. Now I have a back up. It was worth it to wait a few hours and not get shot over a TV.

2 times a year I make it a point to stay home. Black Friday and New Years Eve.

We got there Just before the TV's came out and got very lucky, Then went back home, unloaded the tv and went to target, got what we wanted cause the maylee was over, then took a trip to toys r us. Very dissapointed in that crap heap of a store, nothing was clear as to what was on sale, employees were no help, picked up a few Technic Lego kits for my son and left happy cause all the big crap was bought. Now all that is left is small things I don't have to worry about. I saw that somewhere out westward an old man got slammed to the ground by cops just because he stuffed a game in the front of his pants so he could lift his son or grandson out of the stampede? Any truth to that?

I swear next year is gonna be an online shopping spree. Find out ahead of time and buy long before that friday. So I pay some more, so what? Woke at 8 am thursday and did the thanksgiving thing, and didn't get to bed till 6 am friday. Puck that again.

I GOT THE EXACT SAME TV!!!
Luckly I live out in the Country, I went to wal-mart at 10pm soon as i walked in there was a brawl over sheets and towels lol!! krazy bitches. went for the 40" Emerson for 248, Outta tickets, and alot waiting, so i went and got a ticket for the 32" sat back and just chatted witht he folks around me, there were over 100 TV's to give away and still had tickets to pass out. I really wanted the 40'' but im happy with the 32'' right now.

funny the guy behind me waited since 1pm on thursday to get his son the XBOX 360 for 199 with kinect... well eailier that day I was at Meijer grocery shopping and they had 6 still chilling back in the electronics lol.

oh yeah, the Girlfriend waited in line also To get a new boost phone for $70, over a hundred in savings. she got one only 20 in the store

might be halfway ok, if you use a better earbud than those sh**ty skull candy ones. Possibly the worst sounding buds I've ever had the misfortune to put in my ears. Interesting idea though!

Just goes to show, greed doesn't really help anyone get ahead in life. Bet she feels like a dope! Great story!
