Default cleaing greese off ?

What the best stuff use to get greese of plastic gears inside a trans ?

Simple Green works but it can pit aluminum.

try some wd-40 i got it to take the greese of my revo diffs.

UMMMMM wd-40 is just a different oil, lubricant, I use windex or simple green automotive

Wash them in the sink with some dish detergent, preferably Dawn.

I second that. No need for harsh solvents and such. Just some warm soapy water and an old toothbrush.

Motor cleaner will take it off the film in one spray. But, I still use the dishwashing liguid soap.

High power Brake cleaner... Hell, it gets the greese and differential oil off my hands with a quick blast, but I here it causes cancer... But yep, good stuff.

Lectramotive(sp) cleaner. Degreases and does not leave a film. Safe on plastics and electronics too.
