Default price difference?

I've been looking at the kit versions..and can't figure out what the difference in price between the honcho kit and the dingo kit is? My lhs has both kits, and the dingo kit is $50 cheaper than the honcho kit..aren't they the same trucks, with different body styles?

The Honcho has a long wheel base and bead locks. I would guess the extra is for material and better wheels.

Default kit difference

I just go my kit not that long ago. The dingo kit uses flimsy plastic links and the honch kits uses aluminum.

I would vote for getting one of the Honcho kits before they are all gone. You get all metal links and beadlock wheels.

But on top of the $250 for the kit, you end up buying another 250-300+ in electronics. If you want to go that way, then that's cool

If strapped for cash, get the Honcho TR and swap out the links

Although, some people say the plastic links are fine for mild abuse. I don't think you'd have problems with the plastic links

The plastic links bend very easily but don't really break. It is a future great upgrade but not necessity.

i've got the electrics (other than a motor..pretty sure the 15t i have would be too much)..so that wouldn't cost much..thats why i thought about the kit instead..cheaper..n i'll know a little more about it..

The new dingo kit has the same stuff in the box as the old SXC10 kit did, (the chevy bodied one did as far as rolling chassis is concerned) But with the new body, the new made in house tires, none beadlock wheels, Trans cover, and the Wraith drivelines
