I orderd a Prime Rib from a "steak house" , Now we go here quite often and I usally get the T-bone and that is good. But last night I ordred a Prime Rib and that had more FAT on it then the T-Bone . I asked why this was , and was told they would give me a new steak . BUt its not what I wanted I then said why does it have more fat then the T-bone? Finally they just gave me a very good Prime rib that rerally was great and had like no fat. Just asking if anyone else encounted a problem liek this? Even the manager was very surprised that the prime had that much fat.

I always get a T-Bone, but I never have much fat on it, except last time i had steak. So much of the steak was fat I snacked of other's leftovers.

prime rib is oven roasted with the fat back still attached, some resteraunts remove it before serving you some do not.........sounds like they went back and cut your expsed fat off and returned it to you.... BTW prime rib is only cooked one way RARE..........if you ask for it meduim or well done they just dip in in aux jeux sauce to color it .....no matter what they say its rare........unless you ask for it to be grilled |

I eat all my meat rare. And actually they gave me the original steak to bring home , after saying to me " do you have a dog?" SO I made out pretty well. |

this may sound gross, but i think the grilled outside fat on a steak is one of the BEST PARTS of the steak!!! but then again, i think the skin off of roasted chicken and turkey is the best part, too...
