This is over the top beautiful. Since it is basically an upscale Presentation model with the amp, I would bet the price is in the Fender Crossroads set price range. $30K Builder's Reserve Series III | Taylor Guitars |

| Re: For the Guitar Fans Well, I am almost embarrassed to admit, but I have 4 Taylor's (an Solid Boby C2 electric and 3 Acoustic), 2 Fenders (Tele and Strat), 2 Ibanezs (LP copy and a hollow body), 2 Lunas (Acoustic), a G&L (Strat copy), A Godin (acoustic) and a Inbaez Mandolin. I really need to stop buying, but there is a Gibson ES-335 and a Fat Strat in my future. I just need to quit spending money on these RC's, they really cut into my toy budget. |

| Re: For the Guitar Fans I got to play a Presentation at a road show. And even with my me gar skills. there is nothing smoother and sweeter and that is what the Builder's Reserve is based off of, but I also don't see a Presentation in my future at $5999 discounted from $7999. Hard enough to chock down the 3199 for the ES-335.

man you sure know sometimes where the extra$$ went when you play a top shelf or customshop guitar..and its not that much might be lacking in a less expensive guitar its just you can feel/hear a difference..maybee just higher grade tonewoods..i,ve looked at some of the lower priced taylors but they have a wierd joint at the headstock, sounded real nice though guitars are addicting for sure..i dont think you can have too many..lol |

I have a couple MIM Fenders and they sound great. I am building a Fat Strat based on a MIM body and neck and Lace Alumitone Pups and I fully believe that they sound as good as an American Special and depending on what your playing, as good as a MIA. But you can for sure hear and feel the difference in a top of the shelf or custom acoustic. Personally I love Taylors, some people are the same way with Martins. I also am crazy about my Godin Acoustic Archtop and that is a lower level guitar, $600 range. My wife just bought a Luna Gypsy Spalt, on sale at GC for $189 and it sounds nice. A bit high in the action, but since I play more elctrics, I am used to fast actions and lighter strings. |

I have thought about one. I just gave 5 guitars and an amp to a grand nephew. One of those was a red Fende American Performer so a red Lego would match perfect. Quote:
