Every time I run my truck ... It gets all scratched and dirty . Jeez ,if I would have known that I wouldn't have tried so hard to build a decent truck

Pain heals, chicks dig scars......after the new wears off, the fun begins. But yeah scratches sort of suck. Get stickers to cover the trail rash!!! Enjoy.

most of our lawnmower racing club use rattle cans to paint their mowers... dad and i use PPG paint and paint them all fancy because we can for free... and doesnt matter how many you paint the first scratch always hurts the most.. thats just the way it goes.. once you have a couple scratches then it wears off and you dont care anymore!! |

That's why, as great as the painters on thus site are, and the beautiful work you see on here, I just couldn't buy one. I would baby the hell out of it and run it in an open field with nothing but pavement. Or I'd sit on my floor in my house, moving it back and forth saying "vroom vroom."

Lol..... I , of course am only kidding about this , but I know there are people like that . Hell , I used to ride single track in the woods on a $18,000 BWM GS motorcycle . They are what they are , and dirt and damage comes with the territory

that's how i felt when i first got my xterra... till three days later i destroyed the passenger running board and dented my rocker panel... along with putting a nice little dent in my hood from bumping a dead tree and having the top snap off an fall on my hood. yup 3 days old. funny because i was hung up on some rocks and a big root when i squished my running board between the rocker and the other mess and my wife asked what was that noise... i simply said, not my calmini sliders. two days later i scored a used set of calmini sliders, so the stock running boards were just for practice. now the xterra has full shrockworks belly armor and i just laugh every time i hit the ground, stumps or rocks. i got a shit load of scratches, we now just try to go for no body damage. |
