Southern Buggy 1.1 owners thrilled with RCC!!

So, thanks to craigb, I get a suprise call from the owner of the actual 1.1 John Deere plow boy buggy!! He was enthralled with the build I am doing, and was talking about how alot of the guys on this board are doing awesome things! He told me that they(himself, the Tanners, Coleworx, etc.) were at dinner recently reading the threads on all the builds. They were amazed, and couldnt believe the skill involved!! They were really stoked on the scale beadlock rings that Mthead (fubar) does, and the scale chassis. I have been working on a scale version of the plow boy for a bit now. The plow boy buggy will be going to Ricky, the owner, when I get finished with it. He is going to mount it on the dash of the buggy, so it might get some actual film time! He also told me that they have been approached about doing a reality show.... dont know the details.
Kinda cool that RCC is getting recognition outside of the RC world for all the skill/talent!

Very cool, often times I feel like building at 1:10 scale is actually harder since at 1:1 a 1/4" isnt noticable at all but in 1:10 that is a big mistake. Some of those rigs are very hard to copy!
