Good question...I haven't seen any in stock for a looooong time. I believe Torin used to make them. A couple of years ago I stumbled upon a pair in the bargain bin at a tool store for $5. |

From what I've read, they were indeed Torin jack stands and a promotional item handled by Northern Tools. No longer made as far as I've found. Occasionally, they come up on eBay, but that's it, I think. Too bad, since they'd still be a great seller. |

Nope, mine are metal. I've got two from the hardware store, and four actual Torin stands that I won in a giveaway a year or so ago. That was the last time I've seen them offered for sale. |
