that's cool, good luck with your endeavors. don't worry they made more than one scx10 so chances are once you get your life back on track then you can pick up something better than what you had before. also at the rate the hobby is going now you will return to the hobby later to find tons of great new items and options available than what we enjoy today. if it was me i would just go without pizza and the dumb incidentals before i friggen part with any of my toys... but that's just me. btw, chit chat thread in 3 - 2 - 1. |

Worst excuse for a post I've seen all day. Giving up rc's for a driver licence? please,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, somebody buy me a freakin' buss pass before the "kool" cops come out and steal my mojo. Driving is just a small step towards manhood, you're already "driving" your crawler, man up the rest of the way and keep the damn thing. You'll be glad you got a reason to drive somewhere when theres a comp. |

| Re: I'm leaving r/c Sounds like One step forward and Two steps back to me. What you need to do, is build a bigger crawler that you can physically ride to the next crawling spot and say "to hell" with your license!! That money is better spent elsewhere anyhow |

2: Selling an rc isn't going to get you a car, try having some fun with it for a change. We all go through some type of dry spell, I've had mine sitting for 6 months due to my new job, that don't mean I'm gonna ditch it all and not get back to crawling. | |

The problem is you're young. When you're young and have no money people tend to sell off hobbies to fund other hobbies. In your case its get rid of your rc's to help with driving. Unless you're one of the ones who has mommy and daddy paying for it all. (not pointing fingers at anyone, just a generalization) Sounds like its time to bust your butt and do something. Get a job, show some inniative, keep things on track. Keep your hobbies!!! I think we have all done stuff like this and looked back and wished we had done it differently. I know I did. Good luck with whatever you do man!!! Like other people said, you can always get another scx10 when you decide you want to play again. |
