I can't believe there are any of these turbo Dodges still around.I had an 86 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z back in the day.Fun car but I must of put 4 sets of brakes on it and a 2 camshafts and lifters. Also chewed thru tires.Rattled like a bitch too.You don't see them around because they just didn't hold up,like most Dodges.

I actually saw a N/A Lancer today, not in as good of shape as TurboMini's GTS though

do i have to pick just one?

theres the very unpactical original shelby cobra 427 s/c but a factory five will do. even more so that Carrol Shelby died!

theres the unpractical ford mustang gt1000 (no thats not a typo)

the insanely fast. hennessey venom gt. with over 1000 horsepower, and weights under 3000 pounds

the practical and only foreign car on my list. the bmw m3 e46

and the truck the ford sct raptor

quick trivia. what does the Ford Mustang, the minivan, dodge k car, Yoccos hot dogs, Olivio Premium Products and possibly the dodge viper all have in common?

Mr. Lee Iacocca

He's the whole reason Shelby went to work with Dodge in the first place.

Yup, he even said he'd have done it this time around too if he had been younger The way Sergio Marchionne pulled Fiat Group's ass out of the fire, he may be the best thing for Chrysler since Lee left.

Looks as though my 200 Touring is a significant improvement over my parent's Daimler Era Chrysler Town and Country Touring already. I swear that van has had more mechanical issues in 50k than my Pre-Daimler Jeep has had in the 100k I've had it and isn't always as comfortable as the Jeep, 200, or my Sister's '06 Charger SE either.

A friend of mine used to have a 2.5 TBI Daytona ('90 I think) that wasn't as comfortable as my GTS or Shadow. I would love to get another H-Body, even if it's not the Shelby Lancer (and yes, the 87's were a true Shelby built car too!)

Yup, there were only supposed to be 800 built, 400 each of stick and auto IIRC and I want to say they were the first car with an in dash CD player too! I also remember reading somewhere that the original color was supposed to be an Elenor-ish gunmetal color, but somebody at Chrysler screwed up and sent him a mess of red Lancers instead..........oops.
