Heatin' n beatin',gotta love it.I liked the part where he split the edge of the blade and forged in a seperate piece.Blacksmithing is truly an art form from the time before time.

How is it that you can buy a axe at the hardware store for 20 bones? They payin some chinamen $0.05/hr or what?

The ones from the hardware store aren't hand forged, the are cast.

Completely different process and guaranteed cheaper materials.

I have a friend that was heavily into blacksmithing,went to school for it and tried to make it his profession.His work was amazing but he couldn't charge enough for it to make it work.It takes an incredible amount of time to make one off pieces.
