You can tell your friend he is wrong, I've never seen a D90 with a IFS, they have allways been solid axle with coil springs.

The only thing is, it may have been a concept vehicle, but I'm sure they never made them to sell.

Maybe he saw a picture of a Bowler Nemisis. Its based off the d90 (well the fiberglass is molded to look like it) so he could have confused it.

I meant the Wildcat not the nemisis. They are only based off the d90, kind of hard to confuse the 2 but he might have.

I tried to get him to show proof but he can't find snyrhibg from when he saw it, he said he saw it in a 4WD Action Australia magazine, he believes that it was custom and he said it had 37 inch tyres 7 inch lift, but I known you wouldn't be able to lift it 7 inches or fit 37s to an IFS D90, I said that he must have looked at the picture wrong, cause I've done that a couple of time, anyway thanks for your help

i think the lat model defenders are ifs, not certain, though also the defender 90 based wildcats were solid front axles.

Defenders have not ever been, and still are not IFS. Period. He may have seen a custom vehicle where someone converted one to IFS, but Land Rover never produced a production Defender with anything other than solid axles. This is an absolute.

I think all of the Bowlers are Solid axle, not positive though.

Just because he saw something in a magazine doesn't mean it was a production vehicle. I saw a 67 Camaro with 4WD and 35" swampers on it- that doesn't mean Chevy made it that way.
