One of the two that frequents the yard made another appearance today. Wish I had a better camera than my point and shoot. The other guy is all black. Last edited by Scattman; 10-26-2012 at 01:27 PM. |

Seen two all black squirrels in my day. One in Oklahoma and one in Louisiana. Pretty cool to see one in person. Cool pictures. |

I'm pretty sure there's a Okie on here that could tell us if if they're good eatin' or not. |

The months that have an "R" in the name, same as hunting rabbits. |

Anytime after Labor Day, is what my father always told me. In Auburn, Indiana the town is riddled with the "all black" variety, I don't know they're actual species name. If you can get close enough they have tuffed ears and are a bit smaller than an adult fox or grey squirrel.

Funny guy we have here I don't hear "systems" nearly as often as I did when I was in high school (1999-2003), has they not been phased out quite yet??? You know subs traded in for equally expensive earbud headphones??? Last edited by Devil Inc; 10-27-2012 at 12:27 AM. | |

Int the the Boroughs of NYC you see more black ones than your typical grey ones. I've never seen a black SQUIRREL outside of NYC not even upstate. I always wondered why.

I shot one when I was around ten years old. You don't see them much around here anymore. |

I don't know why, but in town we have grey squirrels and in the woods we have red ones.
