| has anyone seen this truck....
hi, i bought this truck and ups lost it. they show it as delivered but someone else recieved it and decided to keep it Maxx Crawlers Gallery it is the one that Geislerj3 posted pics of. i bought it from him. lmk if you have seen it or heard of anyone bragging about the cool crawler they got for free! i live in michigan so it will more than likely be in my area... i know this is a long shot but ya never know...lol. thanks, cam. |

Did you have the package insured, because then you can atleast get your money back, or some of it.

yeah, it was insured for 750 which i got back... but someone still got a 1400 dollar crawler for free. Geislerj3 was a total stand-up guy through the whole thing. thank god he was so cool about it. you think whomever recieved it would do the right thing. the ups drivers kid is probably playing with it as i type.

What I don't understand is why people use USPS to ship such a valued item. There is a reason why there shipping costs are so much cheaper then UPS or Fed-EX.

since mine was insured they were pretty straight foward about paying up. the only thing that was a little frightening was they only deal/communicate with the shipper. so if anything happens you have to rely on the sender sending you the money. luckily for me geislerj3 was an honest person.

it should have been marked as high value, so the driver would need a signature to deliver it. if it didnt need a signature then the package would have been DR'd (driver released) which is how the majority of the packages get delivered. if it was DR'd then it may have been stolen off your doorstep. i would file a claim with ups and go from there.
