going to use turned down tlt shocks
swamp dawgs
i want to use a mag mayhem motor but i am not sure what esc. pinion and spur to use. suggestions would be appreciated.

That's going to be an awesome rig! I have about 10-12 of the same body painted just about every color Pactra makes, most of them are beaters now thanks to my Clod. Have you thought about running shackles on both ends of the leaves with a songle link to control the forward-backward movement? I know you said it's going to be a trail truck but you don't want it to bounce like a log truck. Just my .02. A set of scale ladder bars would also look sweet peaking out under the frame.

sorry for the lack of auto knowledge but what are latte bars? are they just to links to keep the axle stayed put?

Basically yeah, they go from the outer sides of the axle straight to the frame and prevent the axle from twisting, which bends leaf springs.

^Beat me to it^

Kinda, they are bars that prevent the axle from wrapping and twisting the springs into an "S". And, they are LADDER bars.

I tried some ladder bars on mine this weekend and it locked the suspension. Which I was pretty sure it would do, the only way I could see it working is if the the shackles are reversed so when the suspension compresses, it moves up and out instead of up and and inward.

Only put 1 screw through the shackles and use the long shackles that Mr. Diaz makes

That would do the same thing as what I just said above. It would make the suspension move the other direction. Problem with that for me is that the body I am using will get in the way when the shackles swing back when the suspension compresses. Guess I will have to look into it further and possibly limit the suspension travel.

octigonwallrus, awesome looking truck, now get some paint on that beast.
