| Took a look back in time.
I was going through all of my pictures on my computer when I started painting for people on RCC and damn has it changed alot. Have you ever went back and looked at your crawler pics back in the day and looked at todays, times have changed. Here are 2 pics of bodies that I have painted at the beginning and now, there is about a 3.5 year difference lol.

The bug was painted bag in early 2010, it was one of my first bodies as a vendor, the Ford Truck body was done here recently this month. I found a pic of my first 2.2 comp crawlers based off of TLT axles and nickle battery packs with traxxas wheels narrowed and glued on Moab tires lol.

My 2.2 Comp TLT with Moabs and a stick battery pack, back in the days (2007) when we had to build our own stuff. The chassis was my design to save weight but everyone was like "It is too light, we need weight for comp crawling" and look at where we are at now lol. Narrowed Pede wheels, droop suspension, hell yea. |

Go back a few years to the Clod based crawlers and you'll be somewhere...120 degrees of articulation! Hell yeah!

I've got pics of my first 2.2, and before that, my TMaxx based super. Both from '07-08. Scary stuff, especially the super in its early form.

Great progress jwalker - you do some really nice work. Here's my junk through the years: 2001 - 2002ish Pajero on 2.2's. This was pre-TLT stuff. Pretty much everything back then was clod, pajero or robbe based. 2004 First TLT. 2005 One of my first weird suspension design experiments - no suspension. 2006: Torsion clod - took it to nationals 2007 or so : I had the yellow jeep (torsion) Then I had to get out while I was in college. |

But the bottom line is, your work is top notch I was checking your album and was amazed at the color blending work you do on bodies. | |

funny part is we all ran those white plastic traxxas yokes on the DS. and hardly ever broke them. of course we were running integy motors and moped esc on 6 cell nicads/nimh. the "crazy" power setup was to run 7 cells at 8.4v |
