Man you must be really cheap $21.99 I thought was a good price. 4 led's, wire, voltage reducer, and a 9Volt battery clip. I bet you are really close to the $22 price tag.

If you want cheaper pass by radio shack and go strait to thee source http://www.theledlight.com/5mmcoloredleds.html . As for the other stuff you will need for making light setup go to the five and dime second hand store by a $.25 toy and get the 9 volt lead and wires.

Another thing you can do with the led light is to make a headlight capsule. To make one get a couple of disposable cameras from wally world camera shop, or any other camera place. They usually will give them out free. to make them take the camera apart be carful not to short things it hurts like hell. Take out the flash reflector (FL1). drill a hole in the back for the led and CA glue it in place, then take a piece of alluminum foil or something very reflective and glue on the tip of the led and there you have a directed headlight for your ride. Mount it directly to your body of to your chassis. Looks realy graet in blue.

Damn good Idea BOB.... For sake of ease for headlights i pick up a pre assembled "flasher" kit from radio shack... It holds 2 "aa" and has a switch built in. Cut the flasher board off and in series place 2 high intensity white LED's and a 51 ohm resistor (or blue potentiometer that can be tuned to vary brightness) the cost is like

$5.00 flasher kit (cheapest battery/switch combo)
$10.00 super bright led's (2) white (they are expensive cause they are a blue and yellow stacked to make the white color)
$1.00 max for the resistor or $2 for potentiometer(rheostat)
$4.00 wire

NOT having to hastle with soldering and modifying $22.00
PRICELESS

Try ebay!! The seller rc-lights has 4 white and 2 red sets for $21.50 shipped or 2 white and 2 red for $18.50 shipped. All his light kits come pre-wired and have a on/off switch in the tiny battery box. Takes 3 AA batteries. Super bright I have a set on my Blizzard.
