President Barack Obama told his enthusiastic supporters Monday night that he never promised what video recordings show him promising at least 29 times.

The videos show Obama promising 300 million Americans that “if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period.”

But that’s not what he really said, Obama announced Monday in a speech to about 200 Organizing for Action supporters, gathered at the St. Regis hotel in D.C......................

Yep, there are a lot of qualifiers with that statement. What he said was "technically" true.


On the flip side, insurance companies have had four years to adapt to the change they new was coming and make sure that their policies met the minimum standards. If you have a policy that does meet those standards, you can keep it.

Concerning the reported 53% that will lose their overpriced, low coverage plans, I doubt that most of them will miss it.

Yep he is a proven liar. Thank god we have had such great experience with all the rest of the politicians being so honest. I mean where would we be if LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush had been liars. I mean really, they could have got us into Vietnam, Granada, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iraq again. They could have spied on their opponents in hotels in Washington, They could have undermined the US - Israeli relationship, they could have convinced us there were WMD in Iraq and that we would be in and out of Afghanistan in a mater of a few months.

My I feel like my insurance didn't go up because I work for a huge company, but I bet in the coming years all insurance is going to go to crap. I just wish the people running the government would get their heads out of their ass and fix medical costs instead of making insurance worse.
