Are these a total pain in the a$$ to put together? My room mate is looking to buy a crawler and we have tinkered on RC's before but never a full build kit (mostly RTR or ARTR). Anyway, He is leaning towards an HPI Crawler King (for the price) or one of these kits and stealing electronics from other projects.

I like the original JK kit - the G6 is just a JK stripped of parts... And it's cheaper... But to each their own! And no Preto, building is a good deal of the fun!  |

The ad on the front page says till Nov. 10. I run a Savage XL but with it turning cold I decided to get an electric. This is my first build other than a align 450 heli and it definitely easier than that. I would say a weekend to build and it's much easier with a nice set of Allen screwdrivers (metric). Then maybe another weekend on painting and cutting out the body depending on how detailed you want to make it.
