I really like it. I like what they have done with the body. The dovetail is a nice touch. The front looks a little different too, great job!

Why no beadlocks? That's my only gripe. Other than that I'm getting one. Perfect for my 1.9 Adventurer build.

I hear ya on that. I still see a lot of drivers using the Axial bead lock wheels found here, Axial Racing - wheels The Walker Evans Wheel are rad and functioning bead locks would be sick.

Thanks OGXXXOG. The Jeep Wrangler G6 Certified kit is going to give new builders a great place to cut hone their building skills.

Hi,

I like the look! And feel the new wheelbase and the skinny tail will help to clear those gates ;)

Well, at first glance I like it (although I'm a Toyota guy)
But while watching the video, I realized that there is no spare tire, which is sometimes mandatory... and again with no "real" bead locks. I like having the option of changing colors of the rings and if things go toward the clear dirt, I can take them apart and dry them out. I hope that the RTR come with LEDs as well as some sort of rock lights for all of those ever so dark night stages Also, is there a rear bumper that I am not seeing?
it is hard to assist others or be assisted when there is no place to hook the mandatory tow strap.

Just my two cents on the new product. Although it does leave a lot of room for customization.

After doing all the comparing... the Dingo might be just as "certified" as this kit. And for like $60 less. But I hate that they have ditched the 1.9 beadlocks all together... especially in the kits.

I agree, Daniel, but the dovetail will also allow drivers to shorten or lengthen wheelbase to their liking.

Great two cents, TREE. The Axial scx10 line up has always been a great building platform. The C channel rail chassis can be modded from wild to mild which is why you see a lot of customized scx10's.

The new Jeep Wrangler G6 comes ready for adventure with it's "more than stock" mods. The cool thing here is that G6'ers and drivers have the ability to hop up and customize to their liking. This is a kit that has some really cool upgrades and can still be personalized.

You are not alone in your thinking about beadlocks! The scx10 line up of scale trucks are the Official Truck of the RECON G6 and are most certainly "certified" since several RTR Dingo's and Honcho's have earned Driver of the Day awards. Savings are a good point, but the time & money to upgrade to aluminum links, steering, lengthen the Dingo wheelbase and dovetail it, $60 dollar difference could be a savings in disguise.
