| Forza 5
Anyone playing Forza 5? Just bought an Xbox one since the newest machine I have owned was a WII lol. Was a former Grand Turismo nut but the new PS4 didn't fit the family entertainment I needed for the kids and fiance. Just started playing Forza 5 and am loving the game and graphics. Slowly getting better at driving . Anyone have any tips on the game? My driver ID is ManiacMagoo713.

If you havent played any of the other Forza`s you will love it, it is a quality racing game......If you are a veteran of the series then you will hate it because when you take into account everything thats missing from previous Forzas it starts to look like a pile of dog poo....

I've played a few of the others. Forza 5 is fun but lacks a big track selection. To me it feels like Microsoft left more out to try to capitalize on selling release packs like the cars in the future. My only complaint is in career mode and drivatars. They drive like jackholes the more you try to run clean. I hate the cut you off slam the brakes on or the blatant cut across the track into you. I can only comment on career mode since I haven't played a racing game seriously in 3+ years. I have turned the assists down a lot and drivatars up still managing to keep the win unless I blow a turn or something on unbeatable. Tuning is kicking my rear on the drag strip. Seems like everything I have done in real life on my drag car doesn't work here and slows me down lol. As for the One, I like the new Kinect a lot more. Still trying to get use to the interface. Voice commands for me are spotty but I didn't buy it for that lol. |

From the way you describe the drivatars, sounds like they were inspired by Chicago drivers |

| Re: Forza 5 No storefront, no auctionhouse, no clubs, you cant gift, no green hell, no tskuba, no replays which kills leagues, only 200 cars and cars from F4 are now being sold to you as DLC. I wouldnt recommend it...

yeah I was reading a couple reviews and they definatly didn't sound good. way more complaints and not many plus's. only thing any of them had good to say was that it looks pretty.

It is very pretty, the new haptic feedback in the triggers is pretty cool also. But, as mentioned above, MS is screwing over their fanbase (imagine that from MS ) with all the DLC and things of that nature. The shitty thing is, even after purchasing the DLC pack, you still have to buy the cars with credits in the game also. And the prices of cars vs what you earn for races is retarded also. I almost bought the XBone just for Forza 5, but after playing at a friends house I'm glad that I didn't now.

Kinda happy not to have it then, I'm not much of a gamer anymore and that's just not worth the price for me.

I used to paint for hours on F3 and F4 Forzamotorsport.net Forums - Dab`s Corner - Slumpbuster? pg 7 But with no AH or SF what's the point? Edit - I'm glad so many people are voting with their wallets this time around, it might make them wake up. Last edited by sgtbham; 01-10-2014 at 01:14 AM. |

Geez, how do you plan out those schemes and how long do they take and how hard were the guns to do? The few I've done for 4 and Horizon seemed to have taken hours unless they were simple. I did a couple WW2 Bomber inspired vans that took forever yet can't hold a candle to those and could use some of those machine guns too |
