| put this where is belongs please! E-maxx go-kart
I can't find any other site that I could post this for people to see and give me pointers. Hopefully you keep it here for while. I am trying to make a go-kart with the E-maxx front and rear. I have the 2 speed transmission and a 6.5HV Novak in the mail. The wheel base is 16.25" I am gonna source out some buggy wheels and tires instead of using the emaxx set to keep the buggy look. the tubing so far is made out of plastic for mock up. Later it will be 3/16 brakeline and 1/4" square tubing if at all available. let me know if that will work! I am debating on fabricating the front completely from tubing instead of using the stock bulkheads, maybe just making a big headache though. The bottom photo is what I am trying to get to. It definately won't be a crawler but you guys seem to know about tube frames. Thats why I am putting it here. Let me know what you think any info would be great. |

Nice work so far. Keep it up ** since you stated it was no cawler, it has been moved to Chit-Chat, along with other sandrail builds and such |

I would like to put Bandit tires and wheels on this, to keep the buggy look going, will they fit on e-maxx axles, or is there an adapter out there?? Yah I don't think I will tube the front end,not getting at the differential could be a bad thing. |

This is going to be a great build! Anyone that creates a complete scale version of the larger rig they want to build not only has skill, but they also have patience. Can't wait to see this one progress. |

Drinking Yes, gets the creative juices flowing! I used evergreen plastic tubing and rod you can get it a well equipt hobby store, Its pretty flimsy in the big scale so I have to very carefull when moving it around but its cheaper than doing it in metal right off the bat. I think i wanna keep it a speed machine for now and build a crawler specific set up next once i get my techniques practices, I have a Novak 6.5 HV in the mail a 8.4V battery set up or 8.6 i can't remember. |

Here are a couple updates of the Maxx-Kart almost everything is in the mail, radio servos reciever and wheels engine, and just deciding what type of battery I should use, the biggest and baddest of course, any suggestions? I am gona have to trim back the cross bar a couple inches to clear the tires but it won't be a problem. |
