| Ping pongers...
Any of you ladies play ping pong? My family and I bought a table a few weeks ago and have been playing a few nights a week together. None of us are that good but we have improved and enjoy the couple hours unplugged together

Not recently but when I was younger I used to get down! Lol...I had a hell of a serve ball! It's fun though once you start going and get a few people involved. |

Played a lot when i was a kid. good fun and not too much running around. Unless you play the multiplayer "round the table" mode ( +4 players ) |

Played a lot with my dad decades ago it was a blast. Every once in awhile if I find someone who wants to play I rent a table at a pool hall I know.

I'd like to get one, just need to clear a spot for it. We bought a Foosball table and we're really enjoyed it. |

When I saw the title of this thread I expected Thai girls. I'm a bit disapointed. Last edited by HyperMark; 03-30-2014 at 09:38 PM. |

We have tournaments at work yearly. I place top 3-5 out of the 100+ in the office (not sure the bracket size). Last year I decided to get retarded about it and build my own "paddle" with nice rubbers and a fast bat. Crazy the difference it made [/geek] |

I'm a 248 in usatt and a 960 rating in Minnesota. I suck but the kids I coach are a bunch of killers. They're around the 1600- 1800 range Here's my newest paddle. Second fastest blade in the world and weighs around 80 grams. Rubber is pretty fast too and a bargain at $55 per sheet. Last edited by djjiz; 03-30-2014 at 11:53 PM. |

Friendship is great rubber Harley but you'll never go back once you use the good chit. Try some tenergy 05, adidas, or Stiga tc boost if you get bored. |

| Re: Ping pongers... It was definitely on the cheap side. The black side I used a Stiga rubber but I don't remember what it was. Red was my defense side and black a spin rubber I guess. I did just enough research to put it together. It was almost a joke to be funny in the tournament, but then I couldn't believe how much of an improvement it had over the regular little loaner paddles that we had.

I forget about defense. If you haven't cleaned it yet pick up some glasses lens cleaner. Same chit they use professionally without the price markup and is a great performance gain. |

we have bought a few paddles off ebay... Not sure the specs but I can tell a difference and I'm sure they are not the best. Just better than the old pips out paddles that came with the table. Need to do some research.

I love playing it, it gets very competitive. The only sport my dad can beat me at since it has no running -Corrupt |

Friendship geo spin tacky is a great sheet of inexpensive rubber. It's like $15 per sheet from zeropong.com but if you're hitting 1000 balls a day you'll break the foam down pretty fast. Get better quality blades and completes from paddle palace if you start hitting that much. They're combo deals are a pretty easy way to get a nice beginner setup.

when I was a teenager we lived on a farmhouse with a finished unheated attic and had a table up there....my brother and all our friends would play all the time, we even were up there when family GTG's would happen.... all of us got so good that it was almost like watching it on tv ....we had body and elbow holes in the old plaster walls along with paddle edge slots as well ....you all know how hard those early 1900 plaster walls are ....my mom would yell up to the attic that the dished in the kitchen were rattling, we were getting our pong on hard .... |

Stop by and try some gear. We have 9 tables, two robots, and plenty of balls to use. Totally homo. |
