I'm not feeling it with the graphics, Kinda preferred the first gen trucks appearance wise, much cleaner and more down to business looking vs the latest PW's.

The real Power Wagons were no-nonsense work trucks, by the time the 70's PW, Warlock, and LRT, it was just a big, visually loud fleetside truck. When it came back several years ago, it was more of that original work truck, but better trimmed, had lockers and electric sway bars but without the Power Take Off of the real ones. Seems like they're going back towards visually loud, but at least keeping the god stuff off the more recent models. I do like that you can get it in the more basic trim models too.

The guy that did most of the talking doesn't have half a clue wtf he's talking about. If you're going to do a sales pitch it helps to know enough about the product to at least pretend to understand it.

It's neat that they're making something that doesn't suck right off the showroom floor but I can still build something better for less than the down payment.

At going faster over rougher terrain? Yes. At going slow over rough terrain? No. Comparing apples to carrots never has worked.

That first clip is of it going up Potato Salad Hill in Moab... for a full size stock truck that is impressive.

At least they brodozer it out from the factory with towing mirrors fully extended. I like Power Wagons, but why a gas engine? I don't follow Dodge stuff that intently, or know their specs down to a T like some people, but would the new Ecodiesel be powerful enough in this truck, or would the bigger Cummins need to be in?

The mirrors are the powered tow mirrors. They can extend out and then rotate 90* for better visibility when connected to a large trailer. I wish they had an in-between mirror because the ones on my 1500 are rather small, but the tow package mirrors are ridiculously large.

Because the EcoDiesel is only available in the 1500 1/2ton. Not sure why they never offered the Cummins in the PowerWagon though.

FYI - the EcoDeisel makes the same amount of power as the first gen 12v Cummins.

I knew it was only in the 1500, but thought it would have enough power to move this, well, if you remap it and throw a bigger injector pump on it. In stock form it's supposed to be 240hp/420lb-ft, so yeah, not enough to move this thing very well.

No not quest enough, especially not to keep the tow rating. I was surprised to hear that the rear is milti-link coils like my 1500. Rides soo smooth, but I thought it would kill the towing as well.

This and the Raptor are two different rigs, the Raptor is a go fast in the rough stuff toy, the Power Wagon is still more of a work horse for those who need a truck for actual work.

I believe the original reason is that the intercooler and winch interfered with each other, could still be an issue with the EcoDiesel, could be interesting to see how that little motor would do though. Too bad they don't put that in the 4dr JK, those things could use it!

I think it would be a beast. But they would have to mate it to the ZF8 speed auto because of the torque output.

Ewww real trucks have sticks. I don't care how refined they make automagics I still know when to shift better than any computer.

Those new graphics look like one of the choices for axials new 'go fast ' rig.

I'm not a dudge truck fan, so I'll spare any comments I have about it. At least they kept a solid axle under the front end.
