new technology/ I feel old

Finally got to run my RC with some other friends and their rigs and it's been so long since I've ran with other cars I asked "how are they going to run together?" Back in the day we each had to get our own "crystals" of different frequencies in order to run together. LoL now with the new controllers and the way the BIND feature works you just fire em all up and play, I've been out of the RC game to long LoL, good times good times

I tried out a track phone/flip phone a while back just cause the ol' lady wanted me to have a phone, her and my friends would just burn my minutes up texting me stupid crap, so I used it as a clay pigeon to test out my new 20 gauge... it's a pretty accurate little gun.

I was still using my modded traxxas tq3 until 2 years ago so don't feel too bad.

Snarky will still be around time to time..Someone has to protect the noobs..Its a dirty job but someone has got to do it.

Just moving back into the real 1:1 scene...Bought myself a 97 ranger 4x2 step side in need of more power...I think a 500hp turbo ford 2.3L 4 cylinder will make for a nice "SLEEPER"

To elaborate with the OP a bit....I agree man..technology has made a great change within the RC industry...I felt like a champ switching from my old JR fm radio to my first Spectrum DX3.0...You should've been there when the speed controllers were nothing more than a wiper arm rubbing across a spool of wires. (mechanical speed controllers)..lol

Haha yeah..I've read his posts and I'm not like him..at least not anymore. (Maybe before tho). I'm changing my ways man, I post but that's only on my thread and if I make a thread. I also post if someone needs help in electronics which in fact I just posted to guy trying to fix his HH motor. I'm telling ya, posting a lot is not my thing anymore..I read the other threads more than posting. The reason why you see I posted a lot today is cause I've been in my build thread updating and stuff so I haven't really posting in others threads giving useless info..I agree..I use to do that but like I said I'm not into that anymore

I'm defiantly not like Sharky..I read one of his old threads for the hell of it and I see what you guys mean about him...that's why I've changed so people would stop judging me lol.
