Default Tried out my son's Xmas present....

He has an E Rustler with the stock motor and ESC,got it last Xmas.Well he wants more speed.Didn't want to go brushless, hes only 11, but wanted something pretty fast and somewhat cheap.Got him the XL-5 Esc with the 12t motor and a 7 cell,4500mah battery. While he was at school today I "tested" it out.Man does it FLY!! I think he is going to be really happy.Battery life sucks a little though, maybe 5min tops. But thats the price for speed.Have to get out the Hot WHeels radar gun and see how fast it is.

12 turn Titan motor?

If so....go get a new modified motor. You'll be even happier.

Its the 12t Titan.Got the 23t pinion on it.I'll let him get used to the new speed before I go modified.

I get to drive it when he's at school. Just have to make sure I don't break anything though.
