I came across this while I was trying to find a 5.5 mm wrench.....

Yep. That's used in prosthetic hip implant procedures. You can thank Medicare for the pricetag on that one...

Not all wrenches will work for medical use. Porous materials cant be sterilized easily...

MY first thought was all titanium for use on medical scanners ( MRI I was told ). I sure as hell would not want my doctor using a wrench he bought on ebay during a surgery on me.

You would be surprised at the amount of medical equipment that gets bought and sold on ebay...
