|  How fast can they go?
Several guys at work and myself are huge drag racing fans and even bigger drag week fans so naturally we've been following the building story of Larry Larson and Keith Bailey going for 5.50 1/4 mile passes at this year's drag week. So tonight this question was brought up. 1 can the run 5.50? 2 how much faster can they go and still be able to do drag week. Personally I think 5.50 is doable for Larry and Keith but I don't know that much faster than about5.30 is possible and still be able to do the 1500 road miles plus the racing on drag week. Thoughts?

Drag week fan here too  .I honestly think they are just about done going any faster at this point,plus being able to do the street duties.i think your right,5.50's can be done,but its gonna come at a cost.

that drag racing show pink slips on tv they only get down to the mid 8/9's as the average times, before picking a time slot to eliminate cars....
