| Rc4wd 250 mystery box
After seeing some post and videos of these boxes I thought I would try my luck and pick one up since they have them again. I just finished my gelande 2 and was keeping my fingers crossed that I would get a winch and maybe a light kit no dice. I got box 3 of the $250 boxes and here's the list of items I got. Trailfinder 2 frame rail set, set of twister 2.2 bead locks, full set of dick cepek fun country 1.9, full set dick cepek 2.2 mud country tires, pinion gear, bag 1.22 links, bag2.5 washers, bag m2.5x6mm screws, yota 2 third member, d44 upper link mount, bag jammer tow hooks and 2 shock shafts for dual springs. Over all I would say I'm disapointed compared to other boxes I have seen. The wheels are the best part and I'll use them. The tires I may or may not use and same as the frame rails. Most of the bag parts I'll probably end up using half of them at some point the others will probably sit in my parts box. Just thought I would give my experience with one of these boxes wich will probably be the last.

why not just buy a winch/light kit instead of crossing your fingers?

Eh just wanted to do it for fun. My son just got out of the hospital after being in there for two months and thought it could be fun for us to open it up and have a surprise. I'll get the winch for my truck so no big deal.

Exactly, write the stuff off as a loss or toss $75 (their cost, not retail) worth of stuff in a box, label it as a mystery box and sell it for $250. Pure genius on their end. | |
