Well to start with is how I came across this bike. I was at my local Radio Shack getting electrical parts for a project. At the counter was a customer returning a toy rc truck that quit working. Being that the manager was helping me find the parts I was looking for I asked what they did with the returns. He said that they keep them for 30 days and throw them out, I asked if I could get a few for some projects. He responed with "Sure I could give you a few". Also said that he had a few dislpay models that could go as well. So that is where I got the bike from. Here are a few pictures of it. It goes OK for what it is. It has a 540 motor, crapy steering, aluminum side plates and is a bit on the heavy side, it weighs in at 8.5 LBS with out batteries. So come the ideas of what could be done with it, better electric motor.........brushless??? Chain drive insted of the belt drive New steering setup. Then I was looking at my old Kyosho Quad racer parts chassis, it has most of the parts I need to run Nitro and a chain drive. So should I go Nitro or better Electric motor? Steve |

I have that bike and have done some mods to it, I believe the factory motor is a 550, I could never figure out how to make the steering better. i could never get it to turn on any kind of bump ground or when i was giving it any power

well I found this video a while back. its the same bike as yours except highly modified to run on nitro fuel. it now sports a metal chain instead of rubber I believe. I've got a nitro street bike made by Nuova faor and its a blast. I was addicted to it for a while until I got bit with rockcrawling fever. these days, it just a $900 bike collecting dust.. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...76146203328601 thunder tiger ducatti sport bike vid similar to mine. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...85755483592463 Last edited by zumzum5150; 12-28-2006 at 01:42 AM. |

that was pretty darn cool. I thought the bikes would be difficult to drive. the offroad bike was shooting some roost. |

I have a Ricky moto like that. I would like to do some dieting in it and do a nice brushless setup on it.
