I use right angled Allen keys by TVS or Unbreko. Both are reliable brands. I ruined an Allen key while using a M3 SS bolt to self tap an insert into an aluminium job. In this case , the torque was way higher than what is usually needed.

holy shitsnacks the timing on this couldnt have been any better...

ive had my scalers in storage for close to a year now, not a big deal UNLESS you used a rock salt technique to patina your tf2 and use the cheap rc4wd black oxide screws.

every single black oxide screw that was touching the body rusted up like crazy. condensation or something... image is the yota cab mounting brackets, i had to drill off the buttonheads and work the screws loose with pliers.

in case i didnt make sense heres where the salt came from. i used it like you do with watercolors to make the ink cluster up... obviously didnt seal it up good enough.

Was that a steel nut on an aluminum post? I'm assuming so since you said they were rusted. Galvanic corrosion is a problem too.
