Default help with ford ranger

ok i havea 94 ford ranger 4.0 ext cab. the bearing on the center link on the drivshaft (2 piece driveshaft) i replaced and i cannot find a torque spec anywhere for the nut on the bearing (or the yoke nut). ive looked on all data pro online and can not get a spec there my local ford garage couldnt tell me wht to torque it to. if anyone can help me out thanks alot. and i looked on therangerstation.com and noting on there either. hopefully someone can help me out with it. thanks.

Just put that mofo on as tight as you can, you will not strip it unless you are using a crazy powerfull impact wrench. When I replaced the carrier on my 93 I just put the nut on as tight as I could with a 1/2 inch drive ratchet and it is golden. If you are worried about it working loose you can slap some locktight on it but I do not think you need it with the way I treat mine

Just use standard torque for the fastener size you have. Youre not gonna break it or strip it off.

hey slugz yah i bet i treat it worse.lol im workin on the carrier and broke the sway bar cause im young and stupid. i jumped it 8 times before anything broke on it. i got 4 feet of air with it is that good.lol. i jumped it at my motocross track on one of the tabletops. otherwise i wouldnt be workin on it right now if i didnt jump it. thanks
