It's been a very long time since I've seen that page. I bookmarked the main forum page, but this nifty contraption has a "frequently visited" shortcut to sites I visit, so I don't even use the bookmark anymore.

based on estimates from what i assume is ad revenue. nothing to do with membership stars...

7k a year for something that pretty much sits idle and is for the most part self maintained by the moderators and self promoted by the vendors is a pretty nice chunk of change...

Tally up the number of star holders and figure out the math. There was at least 300 or more entries into the Christmas giveaways so that's at least another $6k

Good God you guys, does no one have a sense of humor anymore? I thought it was pretty obvious I was joking. I don't even know who owns rccrawler, but it's pretty obvious that it's worth more than $8k. the domain name is probably worth more than that by itself, if you could separate it from the site.
