Horizon Hobby 60 amp Brushed ESC

mod please move if this isnt the best spot to post this, thought i would post here since this isnt for any of my crawlers but for a on road car i just recently purchased, the vaterra v100, it comes out of the box with a Horizon Hobby 60 amp Brushed ESC all the reading ive been doing online says its compatible with 2s-3s lipo's, ive been running my 2s lipo on it with no problems... yesterday i plugged up my 3s to use it and see how it performed and it didnt run at all, i figured the battery was dead, so i charged it up and tried again today, still nothing... im getting steering but no throttle.... fully charged battery, not sure why im having this problem, was hoping someone else on here may run the same esc that could help me out,

again if there is a better spot for this mod please relocate. thanks in advance

I just looked at the manual for a V100 and nowhere does it state 3S. It only lists 2S.

When you look at the manual for the 60A brushed ESC it says: 540-/550-size closed endbell motors: 2S Li-Po down to 12T; 3S Li-Po down to 35T
You probably fried the ESC since the motor in the V100 has more turns than 35.
