Only 3 feet? I'm going to use sections of rail road tracks....for strength....and for a wheel base of 27 feet. |

Absolutely stupid trucks............but for some reason I had to click on each one. Kind of like driving by a bad car accident, don't really want to see it, but look anyway.

Yea, you are right, I remember now. I remember a thread that guy posted on CT saying that he had those long links on the rear for beach climbing. But still don't think there is ANY reason for those long links. I think I remember him showing the articulation was insane without fliping the truck with those long links... Crazy either way... Not practical or scale looking.... But to his defense I have seen Sand racing quads from california with extremely long swing arms for dune climbing but I still think it is un-called for even in the sand... | |

Those are marlon's (sp) trucks... Before you knock them....understand why they were built. Not all clod's are crawlers lol His are for sand dunes... Some guys who race clods on carpet would consider some of the trucks we build to have a high COG...Totally different worlds. I applaud him for thinking outside the box...although i'm not sure how they turn! ?? LOL |

From the talk, I'd say that first one is built for the same reason as this bike... http://www.bikehillclimb.com/June200...s/DSC02175.htm ...for going straight up hill. And if you're interested, here is the hill... http://www.bikehillclimb.com/Sept2004/index.html |
