my neighbor has this for his kid. i freaked out when i finally realized he was walking behind them with the remote!
I've since seen him (the dad) "playing" with Walmart grade RC crawlers in his driveway (i think he has a trailcat? somewhat wraith looking). i haven't yet had the audacity to go over there with my yeti hahaha

as for thread title... there are tons of things i wish i had when i was a kid. I'm slowly starting to get them all now hahaha

I had a Bigfoot Power Wheels when I was a kid.

Driving it was the best 10 minutes of my life, pushing it back to the garage after it died was the worst 5 minutes, and I usually forgot about it during the 700 hours it took to charge.

A tad bigger than the big scale RC trucks i dream about, ideally it should still fit in a trunk or on the back seat of a car ( my trunk are smaller than the back seat of my car )

Kids today are spoiled rotten and history will prove this.

Pretty cool, but I'm glad I'm old, and as a kid we needed to use our imagination, cause this type of thing wasn't invented.
I built my own out of a Greyhound pull handle wagon, added 3hp Breaks and Scatters engine. Built the steering, friction brakes, belt drive and I was running down the driveway. And it was no pooch...
And parts of it are still around 48 years later. I'll bet the only thing left of this will be the plastic...

The ad said that the kids could steer the car but the parents could override and take control, I think it's a neat concept. I'd love to see what Holmes would do with one !

What, spoiled kids cant even drive there own stuff now. Mom and Dad have to control their lives even more.
Side note it is pretty cool though. I would've loved that when my kids were growing up.

^ talk aboot flashbacks... I had to dig around and find a pic of the pedal car that I had, or something very similar to it. Most of the kids in the neighborhood had a pedal car of sorts, we'd race them side by side down a hill and crash into each other on the way down.

I had the Bigfoot too, the ‘80-‘86 gen Ford, two pedals, two batteries, was a hand-me-down but still was faster than the newer single battery YJ Jeep’s that other kids had in the neighborhood. I guess Power Wheels had to tone it down and go single.
