Default Got my TTR CORR Desert Racer tonight

I got it and it is SWEET!!!

First impressions...

1. VERY light.

2. Part quality is top notch.

3. Fit and finish is great.

4. Trans is tiny. Have yet to pull it apart but it looks to be half the size os a stealth.

5. Full bearing.

6. AE shocks and body.

7. RPM front arms.

A couple problems I have found are you have to take half the truck apart to put the servo in and no dust cover for the pinion/spur. This seems to be a great truck, can't wait to run it. Now, on with the teaser pic...

Man this thing is cool. I need to thank Tim, DrasticSports.com on this board, for the hook-up. I think this is number 11 or 12. The trucks chassis came assembled. All I did tonight was put the servo in, build the shocks, and install them.

Check out DrasticSports.com, he did right by me

wow, that's nice!!!

if these catch on, it would be cool to see either a scale, or solid axle racing classes at the track!

by the way, what king of rear end is that?

I'm more impressed with the fact you took the time to put a border around the picture. It's my new thing.

Cool truck too.

Definetely not. If they did it would be a large disadvantage as the stock CC-01 has a large plastic skid that is unremovable and limits ground clearance.

Darren told me that the 1st 25 would be fully assembled "test/prototype/evaluation" chassis. I'm sure that he'd like to have your input above for when they make the production pieces available.

I have the perfect place to test it.
Fiesta Island.
For those who have never seen it, here's a video of some guys running a revo at fiesta island: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSYYiyitcHw

Nope, front arms are RPM Stampede arms and such.

I am going to beat the crap out of it and report back with all I find. I already have a notebook for notes on this truck.

I took it up to the LHS today. Got some weird looks and the question "Who makes that?" The guys that work there were pretty stoked about it though.

I was under the impression that Darren wanted the 25 test vehicles to go through testing with reports given back to him.

He might not like everything being made public.
