I have to admit I personally am rather upset to see the FLOOD of 1/16 scale trucks.. in a forum that's supposed to be 1/24 and SMALLER. I allowed the RC4WD 1/18 trucks because they're ALMOST the same size as many other trucks.

but the WPL are a whole different scale entirely. and are closer to the 1.5 trucks than MICRO.

Curious to see what other popular MICRO crawler forums there are out there.

Can another section be added and all these threads moved?

This would be a great idea. There is enough popularity to have an additional forum section for 1/14-1/18 scale trucks which would encompass all WPL and alternate branded trucks. Retaining this sub-forum for the rigs ~1/24 and smaller.

I have no idea who the admin/mods are in RCcrawler to address this. I can't recall the last time I've seen a new sub-forum added to the page.

I did sent a request out via the "Contact us" for a 1/14 to 1/18 general sub-forum. this would fit the WPL trucks and all alternate brands of that scale. seeing as there is a large following and interest I certainly feel like they deserve a forum of their own!

I actually have three of these trucks now. each setup differently (well, one is mostly parts currently) and I do not really want to post up a build log or share the parts for'm because I agree... they're just too freaking large to belong in this forum. My orlandoo based truck would be great to share here. along with my soon to be started 1/87 DAS truck that's set to arrive this week (very excited)

I think these Wpl's etc should probably go in general scale talk. I think what has happened though is one got into the micro forum and then another and then another and so on and nobody has said anything about it. I'm guilty of it too, it's an easy mistake to make, you Google Wpl builds and here is where they show up and without thinking about it you post up yours and so on. I don't think it's a big deal really but some others do, I highly doubt they get moved but I guess we'll see.

Just for the blatant hate for WPL Trucks, I will share this here.

Thanks I was gonna say something earlier but didn't wanna get in a war of words lol, I really like my WPL's, no they are not top notch but with some tweaking they are a lot of fun! I like to run them at home on my property when I don't feel like loading up my 1/10 scale rigs and goin to a crawling spot.

I am just teasing. I get yah, wpl are not exactly small & I am not sure why they are considered micro. Now my 1/24 ecx Barrage is a different story.

They’re not exactly micro. Maybe the Losi Mini forum should be the new destination for these. Especially since Losi doesn’t make those anymore.

I think the biggest issue is the amount of threads created for the same thing. The Barrage has just a handful of threads. A main one and then individual builds.

Understand. most of us here ACTUALLY LIKE THE WPL TRUCKS. They just don't belong in the micro 1/24 scale AND SMALLER subform.

it's as out of touch with the sub forum as a scx10. it's simply too large compared to the intended audience.

Also, my 1/87 scale DAS truck arrived today. I'm excited to start building that tiny guy!

Off topic where is everyone getting the DAS 1/87? Only place I have found them they are sold out:(
On topic WPL trucks are way to big to be on here, it’s making it hard to find the micro stuff.

I also dislike the wpl trucks being in here, but to be fair there doesn't seem to be much in the way of our beloved 1/24 stuff going on.
