Scratch building your own brushless motor. That looks like a fun rainy day project. I wonder how much power something that size makes, as in: think you could power a small rc car (just enough to prove it works) with it? I've got the perfect plastic container to give this a try, though it'd be the same size as a 1/6 scale motor, I'd be surprised if I could get a 1/24 scale brushed motor level of power... I may have to find out!

Yeah, I was wondering power as well. Dude says it's torquey, but that indicates what? Who knows lol. It is cool though, and not all that terribly difficult to DIY an inrunner. Even if it's more a project than something useful. If you end up making one, post it up! |
