My wife did that with are son it....We used to have a hiden key under the truck. But it must have bounced off. Anyway The local cops don't use Slim Jims anymore for insurance reasons. So I had to drive 20min to get one and break in myself. Let me tell ya. The newer cars are a little harder to do that with. Logan was asleep and I got him out just as he was waking up. So all turned out fine. But made me scared still.

if it has the little vent windows in the front of the door, you can get your arm in through them. thats how i got into mine when i locked them in.

that sucks! i've done it once. my sister-in-law does it all the time and who do they call?? everytime she calls me to do it, i just use a hanger and don't even worry about messing up her door. i try to keep a spare key in my wallet. my wife lost her key for her accord, it will cost 200+ to replace, screw that.

that is a bummer. funny thing is i just locked myself out of my truck for the first time in my life today. luckily i was at home though so i just grabbed the spare set and used them to open it. i keep my keys on a keychain with my watch that clips to my beltloop so i usually don't forget them, but i did this time. -Dalton |
