The difference between RCC and Facebook is like the difference between a puddle and and ocean.

FB is like a really big puddle. There is vast expanse of knowledge but for the most there is no depth.

RCC is the ocean. The knowledge here is vast and also has great depth.

Facebook has become the land of "I know I don't normally post political statements"...wait 24 hours..."I apologize if I offended anyone with my political statement"...wait 12 hours..."If you don't like this then just unfriend me"...wait 6 hours..."I'm not talking about politics on Facebook anymore, I'm just focusing on my family and things I like"...wash, rinse, repeat. It's a freaking mess.

Have said before though I do like this forum. Very few trolls and they usually out themselves. And it's not as self-congratulatory/dry humored as SBG, I like that but it gets old after a few threads.

How about this: Facebook is like shopping for groceries at a gas station instead of an actual grocery store. You will get something edible, but won't live long if you keep doing it.
