Nice "serving dish"...but, not so sure about the "meat grinder". Good luck with the cleanup.

That's what every used axle I buy ends up looking like when some moron packs it full of 'marine grease'.

I use Maxima Waterproof Grease. While, technically, not "marine grease", or can be used for such purposes. Truthfully, it's designed for use in bicycles & motorcycles...but works EXTREMELY well in RCs.

Interesting, I've been tempted to do this with avocado. It's full of the good good fats that I think would work well in a diff. And you get guacamole at the end of the day!

But, only if you add tomato. Unfortunately, the seeds and/or skin could cause possible binding...so, you'll need to manually remove those first. While you're at it, might as well make a batch of hummus in the other axle. Will you be taking orders?

Agreed. Avocado has a very delicate flavor and does not need all of the things in it. I'm a sea salt/cracked black pepper/lime and that is it.

For tomatoes in guac, I can take them, or leave them...I like it both ways. Mostly, I prefer without. Just, NO pepper (sorry, Phil).

Pepper in all the things imo. Fun fact: my Grandma on my dad's side nickname is Pepper. Because she really likes it. And I have a cat named Pepper (he's black...see what we did there) - must be in my DNA haha. I actually shop for different kinds of peppercorns and can tell the difference between good and bad pepper. But I can't stand ground black pepper like the sprinkle kind that comes out of a can. I have a set of grinders, they are battery powered, and have LED lights in the end so you can see where you are applying. Kind of like pepper flashlights. What a time to be alive

Kinda like my dad, and his dad. Both are/were 'serious' about pepper. Being raised by my mom to I ended up on the other side of the fence. Salt is great for light seasoning...helps bring our the flavor in certain things...but never black pepper. Others (such as white, cayenne, sichuan, & sansho), I like.

The miracles of modern technology never cease to amaze to me, these are truly amazing times we're living in!!

I too am a big fan of fresh ground pepper and it's gotta be fresh ground, that pre-flaked, almost powdered garbage isn't even good enough to take camping. Preferably it's ground with an adjustable grinder so can vary the flake size depending what dish you're working on. I've always just bought the preloaded grinders you can get at Costco and they seem pretty good but now you've got me questioning that.

And now I want to know, how do I tell the difference between good pepper or bad pepper?

I think, unofficially at least, it is now.

Cumin is great in guac (in moderation)

And bacon grease is some slippery sh*t... A friend told me so.
