Business casual shoes are any kind of shoes that you can wear to work. They don't have to be formal or dressy, but they need to be business appropriate. The question of what shoes are business casual is a little complicated because there are many different types of business casual footwear. You can wear casual shoes with suits, pants and skirts as long as they're not too dressy and you don't have to worry about them looking like tennis shoes or flip-flops (though they can look like those too if you're wearing the wrong kind of shirt). You'll find many options in this category including loafers, oxfords, suede loafers and even slip-on sneakers depending on your personal style preferences. But one thing is for sure: if you're going to wear a suit, no matter how casual your shoe choice may seem at first glance, it needs to be clean and pressed so that it doesn't look sloppy or sloppy-looking when you add your jacket later on! |
