A long time ago I got back into RC with a Traxxas Jato 3.3. That plus Jack the Ripper, which I always thought sounded cool and I’m fascinated with serial killers, equals JatoTheRipper.

I adopted this name in the early 2000s after I picked up my jeep (Dec 1999) when i worked for AOL. Bigredjeep was taken so i dropped the i. Been using it since. The jeep is not long for this world as I'm about to get started with a fresh tube chassis using all the driveline parts from this rig. I'll keep the name. My "net name" has been OutLore since the mid 90s... my first email account was Hotmail, and I wanted Outlaw@hotmail.com but that was taken. OutLore seemed the next best thing. 30+ years later and I'm still using it lol. Outlaw was my sister's cat. |

Nice, now I don't have to guess what everyone's names means! Some of your names I had figured out and some I thought I did. Mine is fairly simple. My first initial (B), my last name first 3 letters (MOW) and the year I was born (71). I've never been good at making up usernames or passwords, so this is what I came up with when I joined RCC. Now it is my username on all sites. |

Awesome! I’m jealous! I had a ‘95 S-10 LS 4x4 with the 4.3 V6. I always wanted an RWD S-10 with a small block.

I used to draw little cartoon characters then I got older and started making them out of femo clay I put a stick in 1 and It became a bong poker then other people started asking me for them then i started selling them when it came time to make up a name for them I ended up with ferps then came ferps . com that's were ferp420 came from my first business email lol and then my screen name the term ferp came from my inner circle of friends when we would get high and forget or just couldn't remember something we made a sound kinda like a fart sound ffeerrpp then we would say brain fart so basically a ferp is a brain fart thats caused by getting high kinda fitting I would say |

Awesome guys. A couple I was close on but some far away. On a few other sites I use slopok. I wanted slowpoke but it was taken. Back in the day I was never slow on a mtn bike. Now at 58 I don't have the time to put into riding due to work. |

One of my other hobbies is motorbikes, fortunate to have year round weather and some good twisty roads local to my area here in So-Cal allows for early morning weekend rides when the time allows. I have slowed down with the family growing and I spend a lot more time with the little ones showing them how to work with their hand building and fixing RC's and making them handy with tools. Hence my screen name in honor of my Triumph Speed Triple, I have had a few different bikes but this one is a keeper, she fast, nimble, comfortable, modern classic look, powerful 3 cylinder engine with torque for days. |

Luv that triple! Ots is the first three letters of my last name (Otsen). It was given to me as a nickname by my boss's secretary when I worked in El Paso. Her name was Linda and what a sight she was! |

"nightcrawler48" is from my trailing/crawler nights at a wilderness park about 5 minutes from where I used to live. There was a group of us who would meet every Wednesday night and trail through the park from about 7:00PM to 10:00PM, all year round - sun, rain, snow. "48" is for the year I was born as "nightcrawler" was already taken when I started using it. The thing that is amazing to me is the park is over 150 acres and sits in the middle of urban sprawl. I miss that park. |
